BEHIND THE scenes

Originally, there were no plans for a valentines shoot- until suddenly there was… on February 13th (the very day before valentines day*!!). I found this backdrop from a thrift store for a couple bucks. Emily and I decided on the outfit together, and I picked up the flowers from food lion.

THE LENS SWAP

The next photos were taken on a EFS 18-55mm with a wide angle attachment converter lens. I tried to go for a more dreamy look with these compared to the first photos taken on a 35mm pancake lens. I think it’s fun to compare the differences in the look of this shoot from these two lenses. The 35mm photos have more of a crisp look whereas the 18-55 have that faded feel. Which do you prefer & why?
